Double XPs and 99% Off Healing Costs Coming Up in Aion

December is looking to be an eventful month for you, Daevas! Aion just made an announcement today that you can double your XP on both mobs and quests from December 3 to December 6, 2010 and from December 10 to December 13, 2010. That’s two weekends of twice the fun, twice the gain!

But that’s not the only thing going back-to-back. A 99% discount on soul healing costs will also be implemented starting on December 4 to December 5 and again on December 11 to December 12.

Aion Mag Pre-orders Until March 25 Only!

Preorders for the official Aion magazine will be ending March 25, according to an announcement made by NCsoft this morning.

A joint venture between NCSoft and Cranberry Publishing Interactive, the monthly digital-only ‘zine will be launching its maiden issue on March 26. With over 100+ pages of high-quality editorial and layout enhanced with an interactive set-up, Aion fans will be privy to inside scoop and expert guides, among many others.

What’s more is that the pre-order guarantees benefits such as exclusive in-game items. A year’s subscription, for instance, throws in an additional set of wings, black or white dyes and other cool goodies.

Tahabata Killed for the First Time

If you’re keeping close tabs on boss kills in Aion, then you’d be excited to know that Tahabata was killed for the time in the Western servers. Tahabata Pyrelord is a three-headed dragon and the final boss of the Dark Poeta dungeon. The tank of the group who beat the boss has created a forum thread detailing their conquest, including two boss strat videos. Their secret for the historic kill? Farming fire resist set gear and multiple S-rank attempts. If you plan to follow in their footsteps, good luck and may you have a better drop than a blue-quality helm!
